After setting his personal best for 10km (35:04) last week, Awan completed his second major race of the year by coming in second position overall in SCKLM Men Open 10km. Awan, representing team Adidas Malaysia, finished after James Karanja from Kenya which makes him as a the first Malaysia to cross the finishing line in 35:48.
