Singapore Standard Chartered Marathon 2015 will be my first official oversea road race. One of the reason why I choose to take part is because the quality of the event. First, its Gold Label status by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), placing it among the world’s elite races such as the New York City Marathon and the London Marathon. Second, the timing clocked in #SCMS2015 are fast which is good for me. I was hoping to clock my PB during SCKLM2015, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the haze. I’m aiming to break my PB for 10km in #SCMS2015 , currently I’m able to clock 35:52(35:17 unofficially) and I hope to go below 35:00.

I have chart out my training program for #SCMS2015, hopefully I could follow it properly and my body stays healthy. I would like to thank #SCMS2015 for giving me opportunity to achieve my goal and end year 2015 with a new benchmark for myself. For the reader out there, I hope to see you at #SCMS2015. The last date of #SCMS2015 registration is 30th November.

*To make things more interesting, I’m planning to shave my hair if I failed to meet my 35:00 target :p
Interesting! Good luck Azwan! Hopefully you can keep your hair after #scms2015 😁
