Kenny Rodger Roasters Chicken Run 2015

I couldn’t collect the race kit as it was scheduled on weekdays, hopefully next time the organizer can schedule on Friday and Saturday. So the run was 7km, the starting point is at Sunway Lagoon entrance and making a loop around Sunway area. You’ll be running and holding an egg on an ice cream cone (Just like Mc Donald’s Sundae), so if you broke your egg you’ll be disqualified. So I was running the race with crunching my other hand with egg, at the end of the race the cone was wet because of sweat and soft.

After the race flagged of, I ran behind Murali and Lili about 1km plus, and then I go by myself, both of them are not at their best I presume as they didnt follow me along. The traffic was a bit busy, but the police and the race organizer did a good job in clearing the path. I reached the finishing line in 21:25 with the distance recorded in gps 5.93km.

The race was well organized, I’m happy to be in #1 position after so long being #2 and #3 in previous races. I would like to say special thanks to Bro Jojo for helping me out with the hamper.

It was the last race before fasting month, I’ll be taking rest and focus on conditioning throughout Ramadhan and ready for races in August. Thank to Coach Din for the guidance, my training partners, Kyserun Krew, and all my friends for the encouragement and support. See you on the next run!
